RYAN DIXON
RUMPUS / ALONZO

Ryan trained at the Arts Educational School, London, and graduated in 2005. Upon leaving, he joined the original cast of The Ha’penny Bridge (Royal Opera House, Cork and the Point, Dublin) creating the role of Jimmy O’Loughlin and understudying the principal role of George. He was shortly after invited to perform in Children Will Listen (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) — a tribute to Stephen Sondheim. Ryan joins Cats direct from playing Ruhrgold and alternate Electra on the UK tour of Starlight Express and is excited to be switching the roller skates for a pair of leg warmers! Other theatre credits include: Dance Captain for UK Productions’ Dick Whittington (Bath) and Jack and the Beanstalk (Coventry); Ernie in the workshop of It’s a Wonderful Life. TV/film credits include: James in About a Boy; Dancer for Geri Halliwell’s ‘It’s Raining Men’, Hampstead Heath — The Musical (BBC) and The Late Late Show (RTE, Dublin). Ryan is thrilled to be joining the cast of Cats!
