PHILIP COMLEY
CORICOPAT

Philip trained at Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey having begun dancing at the Coreen Bailey School of Dance in his home town of Oxford. Upon graduating Philip appeared in Ready Steady Dance with Wayne Sleep and also Swing From the Heart at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton. In 2002 Philip made his West End debut in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium. He can also be heard on the original cast recording and seen on the making of video/DVD. Television appearances include Blue Peter, Children in Need 2002 and ITV’s Christmas Show. Most recently Philip would have been seen playing the Cheesegrater in the UK tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Philip played Carbucketty on the last tour of Cats and also performed the role of Mr Mistoffelees on many occasions. Philip is very excited to be touring again with such a wonderful production and wishes to dedicate his performance to his family and friends. Also a very special thank you to Ross and Mark for all their hard work!
